Wonderful homemade authentic Mexican. Bernie and his family out do all others in the area! Their Guacamole is the BEST! Bernie’s love for food and for his customers is incredible!
We stopped in because of previous reviews and they were spot on Bernie has the best Mexican dishes around My wife and I sample every Mexican restaurant we encounter and Bernie tops them all The green chili is outstanding and the Roasted green chili is to die for. Their meat selection is fabulous, the shredded beef is in my opinion the best I have ever had. The service is outstanding answering all questions, being attentive to our needs and very polite Cannot go wrong with anything on the menu, Bernie's is now my absolute go to every time I am in Laramie Keep up the awesome work people you all ROCK 👍👍👍
It was our first time visiting and we will for sure be returning. Bernie, owner i believe, was our server and he did an impeccable job and was great with my girls, even giving them free ice cream after our meal. The food was amazing as well as affordable, possibly offering cash discounts but I can't personally attest to that considering I payed with my card, I only saw it on the receipt. Stop in for a wonderful experiance and great, authentic tasting food.
Nice little restaurant off the beaten path. I can vouch for the fried taco and enchilada with medium sauce. Just enough heat to feel it. Tortilla chips on top of the beans was something I've never seen before, on the side would have been fine. Worth the stop if you're in Laramie and looking for Mexican food.
I love Bernie’s!! I live 5 1/2 hours away but when I get anywhere near Laramie I’m going!!! Bernie and Laura are wonderful!!
Just moved to W Laramie from N Laramie about a week ago. Tried this place last week and everything was so BUENO we had to order again tonight!!! The shredded beef fried tacos are my favorite and the bean dip with chips are delicious! My husband hates beans but tried these and said WOW these taste great! Oh and dont forget to get some of their spicy roasted green chile, its sublime! Next I will have to try their posole on our next visit, they were out tonight. Definitely worth a try and the drive over to West Laramie.
The food was good, pricing was reasonable, felt very home like. Our waitress was extremely kind and checked on us multiple times and very friendly.
I’ve always loved Bernie’s. Family owned and the food is delicious. 🤤 I still remember when he was getting it off the ground. Family always welcomed me and service was like walking into my own home.
The food was AMAZING and the portions was huge! Great price for what you get! Manager is VERY friendly! My only complaint is you have to buy chips and salsa. I've been back there SEVERAL time.
Ten stars for tasty, flavorful food and very generous portions. The chips were average, but the salsa had a great kick. My husband, who travels and eats at Mexican restaurants monthly, said his build-your-own grande burrito was “the best he’s had in years.” It was loaded and perfectly balanced. I ordered two smothered enchiladas off the à la carte menu, thinking I didn’t want a huge meal—but to my surprise, each one was massive and fully smothered, so I should have ordered just one. We both ended up taking food home. The server was polite, friendly, and attentive. It does take a while for freshly prepared food, so be patient, ask politely for drink refills, and enjoy each other’s company. We enjoyed talking to the owner as we were leaving, and next time we hope to chat with him more—we’ll definitely be back.
